Pregnancy and infant loss, though it impacts as many as one-quarter of all pregnancies, is scarcely mentioned in reproductive conversations. Its elusive nature combined with a societal discomfort with grief as a process makes the experience extremely difficult for those going through it. Professionals themselves are often unsure how to support these families. This workshop will offer a brief overview of the typical experience and presentation of bereaved parents and offer some precise tools for how to support them.
